  • The majority of the names we use to refer to each day honors a different Norse god. Sunday:Sun, Monday:Moon, Tuesday:Tyr (God of War), Wednesday:Odin (The All Father), Thursday: Thor (God of Thunder), and Friday:Frigg (God of Love, Wisdom, and Marriage). Saturday was the day of washing/bathing, but in our case it’s named after Saturnus the Roman God of Harvest. You can see most of these Gods featured in the New Thor movie.
